Namdaemun Market

Over the weekend we went shopping with Jieun at Namdaemun market, located in downtown Seoul. Namdaemun is a traditional open air market dating back to the Joseon Dynasty. Since then, it has become the main source of daily products for the city. This market is also the nation's wholesale center and virtually anything your want can be found here including, clothes, shoes, housewares, electronics, food, flowers, jewelry, furniture.....etc. There are over 5,000 retail shops in all....lots & lots of shopping!!! :)

GS 25 convenience stores are everywhere!!! They sell a broad range of items including snacks, drinks, and the infamous Sam Gap Kim Bop.....it's a quick, cheap lunch -Korean style :)
